Working
at the Mad Planter, LLC Garden Center
Mad Planter, LLC is a seasonal garden center, with
three part-time positions available.
Our busiest season begins in April, with employment opportunities in our outdoor garden center.
We are always on the lookout for experienced garden, landscape, softscape, greenhouse professionals, to add to our
team in the Spring.
The Garden Center is open seven days a week. All of our
employees are required to work at least one weekend day, as well as evenings as part of your regular weekly shift.
This is required of everyone at Mad Planter, LLC from the management team to our newest employees.
We look for 'Can Do' employees, who are customer focused and service-oriented. If you have visited
our Garden Center in our busy seasons, than you are familiar with the wonderful customers we serve.
Our
employees must be able to provide helpful and pleasant service to multiple customers in a fast-paced environment, as
well as being responsible for ongoing plant and shrub maintenance, unloading shipments of plant material from trucks,
stocking the plant material and keeping our indoor and outdoor spaces clean and clutter free. This can be very physical work
and our employees must be able to lift at least fifty lbs and safely climb ladders. We stress this upfront so that anyone
interested in joining us understands the very physical demands of the job.
